Sound not playing from all speakers

Depending what you're listening to, sound might play from one or multiple speakers. For example, movie and TV dialog is typically heard from only the center speaker.

If system speakers aren't playing sound when they should, check the following:

Check to see that correct speaker mode and volume level are set. If the center speaker is not playing, be sure the system is in three- or five-speaker mode and the center speaker volume is adjusted appropriately. If the rear speakers are not playing, be sure the system is in five-speaker mode and the surround speaker volume is adjusted appropriately. To change speaker modes, see Changing speaker mode

Make sure nothing has come unplugged or disconnected at the speaker or at the Acoustimass module.
